Hi Mike,
Do you work for the military by any chance? This sounds like the exact
same thing we just did:

In our case, I had a Access v2 database that I had to switch over to
Access v7. We also have networked machines running Windows NT 3.51 and
WFWG 3.11. As far as answering any questions, I don't know. Haven't
tried reading one of my databases elsewhere on the network. My guess
would be the network should be able to read the v2 database. I do know
tho, when I tried to read the v2 database with v7, a screen came up
asking to either convert the database or otherwise it would be read
only, I believe.
I'll have to try this tomorrow at work.
