a good init string for a zoom modem would be:
at&fe1l1v1&c1&d2s0=0s7=90s11=50^m
also the upload errors fix:
press alt-n, pick modem, toggles, make sure cts/rts is ON and xon/xoff
is OFF....that should solve your problem..
