Hi STEVE ,
SR> My question is, I would assume that since I'm using R13-C4 Win-NT, that
SR>I should be creating the outline for the walls of the building with an
SR>MLINE function??? I have always used the polyline command in the past.
SR>Does anyone have any suggestions for me??
You could use MLINE. You could also use PLINE or LINE using OFFSET for
the walls.
Its six of one and half a dozen of an other. I would probably use a
combination of all the commands. Use the commands you are firmilar with
and try new ones as you go along.
Make use of GRIDS, SNAP and have ORTHO on (allow you to draw at 90 deg)
and press F6 to allow distance and angle from last point of line (I
think you press F6 three times ???)
Set up some LAYERS. Some for the building outline, dims, etc and some for
the Machanical Info.
One way might be to make a BLOCK of the Outline of building and drawing
the machanical detail over it
The use of the LINE and EDIT command as well as the things mentioned
above I have found the most useful for me. Others might use other
commands.
Cheers.... __
