But those who don't give a fuck about any temple tend to make the best soldiers. If you have to push some large piece of machinery up a muddy hill in unpleasant conditions then the sancity of the temple is very much in risk. The older people know that. The young do not. The young will by their nature take greater risks with the sanctity of their temples. If these people were to be drafted into specific units based on age (e.g. the old can become submariners ) then possibly but a general spread would not be appreciated by the infantry/marines etc. "Young & fit?
