[ Quoting Denis Tonn to Scott Little ]
DT> Point him at the OS/2 GNU compiler(s). Same price as above.
There are languages out there other than C you know.
DT> Or know how to use an internet search facility
Since you're one of these Internet = everything people, go find me a
hareware
or freeware HTML editor that supports the majority of the HTML3.2 tags, has
diaglogs for the most common ones (BODY, IMG, TABLE, anchors and maybe
FRAMEs),
and buttons/pull down menus/hotkeys for all the other common tags like FONT,
SIZE, BOLD, header etc.
DT> I will admit that OS/2 users don't get the software shoved in their
DT> faces as much as Windows users do
Probably because you'd just laugh more often than not. WordPerfect is the
est
example I can think of.
DT> But there *is* software out there
I know, I have a 650 meg CDROM full of it, as well as 100 meg or so on my
S.
DT> Reliable, inexpensive (vs cheap) software from a multitude of sources.
True, true and true. But, you forget usefulness, features and presentation.
Reliable, inexpensive and sources is useless if I hate using it, it doesn't
so a excellent job and it produces average output. I have to LIKE using it,
it MUST do a great job, and it must produce output that I can be expected to
be able to give to the Queen.
