Mark,

I normally use Courier New with Font 14 Bold in WordPad or NotePad.

When I started up WordPad that was the Default Font and I didn't
change it for my test that day. I just wanted to do it Quick And Dirty.

I just tried WordPad with Courier New 14 Bold and the Tab Key moved
the cursor 4 spaces the two times I pressed it.

I did notice the Tabs setting can be changed in WordPad today.

I use WordPad when I want to Underline some text in what I'm writing,
or I want to use different sized Fonts on some lines, but usually
NotePad does fine for what I do, although I have played with MS Works's
Word Processor and Open Office a bit.

I don't normally make what I'm writing look real fancy, Plain Vanilla
works for me.
