That compatability makes all the difference.  I still have 10x 5.25"
floppies of all the stuff we were using back in the mid to late-80s,
formatted in Apple CP/M... unreadable by anything else.  I also have
another box of 10 in Apple format containing copies of the top 10 games at
that time... also unreadable.  Well, anything in volatile magnetic media
after nearly 30 years probably is unreadable anyhow.

The boxes don't take up much space.  In my mind, the stories they contain
are each worth a 1000 pictures.
