DB>VH>Maybe you're not the guy to ask -- since you've sunk a lot of effort in

DB>VH>would you pick, and in which order, if you wanted accuracy at a low
DB>VH>cost?
DB> I know that you didn't ask me, but here is my 2 cents worth:

DB> Winchester T-22 for my silhoutte shooting.
That's pretty close to my approach -- spend money for a trigger job, a
scope, and ammo. Heavy barrels and other goodies are for later -- when
you know you can shoot well enough to justify them.
DB>VH>JS>I have a bushnell sportview on it now. It's coming off, it just
oes
DB>VH>JS>hold up like it should. I thinking of a Simmons next.
DB> I have a bushnell banner 10 X 40 with wind drift and bullet drop
DB> compensator dials on each of my silhoutte rifles and they work
DB> just fine.
Glad to hear that -- a recommendation for a scope (or any other piece of
gear) from a man who has used it extensively is valuable information.
I mostly have Burris and Weaver. They work for me, and my motto is if
it ain't broke, don't fix it.
