Hello George,
This area does get the snowbirds from colder areas of this nation
and some from the Canada area. There is very few snowbirds that stay
here when it warms up here. My better half has told me if she found a
place that stayed the same day in and day out she move to it. This
State is not to bad for almost eight months out of the year. It is
getting through these four hot months and some leave this time of the
year here.

With all the concrette used in the big interstate roads here it draws
the moisture. Then most homes here have a pool in their back yards. So
that also does make it more humid. The first big monsoon storm with
rain it then makes it very humid. When this area hit 55 dew point level
three days in a row the Monsoon Season does start. So we watch for the
dew point to hit 55 three days in a row. Then oh what fun it is here.

There is right now a forest fire in a area near the border of New Mexico
area. We hope the forest fighters can bring it under control soon. It
was started by some dry heat lightning and haven't heard of any forest
fires from careless people so far this year. The summer season starts
on the 21st of this month. We seen a news story on the bark beatle
causing damage to the nice forest trees. Our State Gov. has asked the
President of this Nation for fund to kill the bark beatles. The first
big have rain from one of the Monsoon Storms will help to get rid of
those insects.

Yes, I sure agree with you and many people in my Mom's area aren't one
bit happy with those Enviromentalist people. There is plenty of work to
be done in the forest area near her area now. The forest indutry is
trying to clean up the area of course sometimes the enviro. people stop
the action and that is sad. I've never seen one of them help to control
any of the forest fires.
I will now close and hope this week ahead is good for you.
Bye for now,
Tom
