Imho reading it even without an updated version would give
you some good insight into MR. Powell.  Reading that is one
reason I believe that Obama didn't seek him out.  Had Obama
sought him out for an endorsement there wouldn't have been
one at all.


I still have the feeling that MR. POwell will find other
ways to spend his life now.  HE's done his thing with
military and public service.  Were I him I think I'd want to step back and
enjoy the rest of it.  YOu have to admit being sec of state under BUsh and
getting burned as he did would
have to weigh heavily on one.  IN his position I think I'd
back completely away for awhile.  I don't think that Obama
endorsement was in any way solicited by the Obama folks.  I
also don't think he's gonna jump in with both feet for quite awhile yet.

YEs, but I don't hear about her much since the big
campaign's over.  Back to raising her unwed preggers
teenager and saying what might have been.  DOn't know
though, I don't watch tv news so I might be missing it.
