Ha-ha, ha!  I once had a similar daydream about our eldest daughter. 
Luckily it never came to pass.  ;-)

Yeah.  We've had our hot days, getting up to +40C offically.  In my little
'office' here under the house (not a basement BTW), it's only been getting
to about +34C.  I get a lot of benefit from the overhead shade from the
house while being exposed somewhat to the outdoor breezes.  It's a pleasant
+30.8C as I write, with what must about 65% humidity.  The breeze looks to
be about 15-20 knots from the north-east, judging by the movement of the
Frangipani tree's leaves about 3 metres away.

I feel sorry for the folks down in Melbourne.  A sysop down there reported
he was running his air-con for about 10 hours a day, over the last two
days.  I've been watching 'the tennis' in Melbourne, and they're really
having a tough time of it.

I haven't heard anything from my sister in Adelaide.  Maybe she has
everything going to cool the house, rather than running her PC.  Silly girl
should never have moved.  :)
