Kurt,
According to Flambeaux Software, Inc. DOS HELP 5.0
DOS 2.00 was the first to support a 10 MB HDD.
I was still using a Commodore 64 PC at home in 1986.

I was amazed at how The Online Bible v2.11 for DOS was so fast to
show all the Scripture Verses that had a word I asked it to find
in the Bible,
Made my jaw drop when I saw the results FLASH UP INSTANTLY on the
monitor connected to my 486DX33 box with 8 MB RAM and MS-DOS 5.0
on a 330 MB HDD.
... Possible WIN.COM virus on the C drive, WINDOWS directory.
