The 403 of mine was a 'tropical' version, with vinyl seats barely covering
the springs.  Also there was no cabin heater.  I had to instal it myself. 
It was a cute little mini-radiator that fitted into a slot in the air inlet
trunking.

So, according to Wikipedia, the car was most probably assembled in
Australia.  Which may make it better than the average French version.  :)

BTW, Joe Columbo (TV cop) had a 2-door convertible version!
