Hi! Ed,

On Thu, 13 Feb 14, you wrote to me:

Certainly. I wrote what I wrote taking into account what little knowledge
I have of your former service in the USN. No offence taken nor intended,
my friend. Rest easy.

Ah, neat! I have seen these in operation on TV. Particularly in European
& British locales, where there is a lot of small craft traffic on canal
networks. I guess your work involved larger craft? And a lot of traffic
as well?

Count yourself as lucky. :) I have never seen 'white stuff' on the ground
except for those times after heavy hail storms, and even then it was small
marble-sized stuff... many, many years ago.

Cheers,
Paul.

... Then, suddenly and embarrassingly, my swash came unbuckled...
