subject: Web one-way?

GC| Actually, using the kids bbs on the web that I work with as
  | an example, the conference areas are interactive and
  | include graphics and sound files. Each kid has their own
  | conference to tell others about themselves (this would work
  | great for businesses).
When I said the Web was mostly one-way, I meant that it wasn't like
this conference, where all users can read all messages, including
   this one.
So, each kid has a conference where anyone can post a message and
read all other messages? Most of the sites I've seen have
information that is displayed to the "surfer", and there's a mailto:
where you can send mail. But you can't generally read mail or
comments that other users have sent.
   I guess it's technically possible, it's just that I haven't seen many
   Web pages do that.
