Not for what I originally intended.  Slice your bread & make your
coffee.  It was a doosie.  :)

It was do-able as I could have cloned a system I have here.  I can't do it
since I don't have a T61 to save the required settings to.  The next-best
plan 'B' is a boot stick with pre-cofigured Fidonet software installed and
ready to run, with documentation for the config; it would be enough to be
able grab mail & files from here or anywhere in Fido, etc.

So, that's my plan now... toe-tapping till my youngest daughter returns my
4Gb stick I sent her with movies on.
