Hi! Holger,

On Sat, 01 Feb 14, you wrote to me:

You mean to say 'slush', huh? Awful stuff I'd imagine.

No thanks. I've played with it years ago, and could probably get it in a
couple of minutes off of some website. My usual first step is to go via
DistroWatch.com (http://distrowatch.com/index.php), which has a huge
directory of all known distributions. From there it's a hop, skip & a
jump to the repository holding their .iso (CD) boot files.

I've got plenty on my plate already thanks. I was doing backups this
morning and came across a couple of .iso files that I'd forgotten about.
They're boot CDs for Debian linux and some other thing, which might be the
latest Puppy linux. I forgot that I had them. Oops. :)

It was very pretty, and was designed to compete with Windows XP. At one
time, I had three PCs running the limited cover disk version, and,
connected up via a coax ethernet network.

Their whole project came to nought, though. The feller who had the
licensing rights to Lycoris sold out to a (shareware?) commercial outfit,
and then that outfit collapsed a year or two later. So, by about mid-2007
it had all turned to compost... figuratively-speaking.

My project is just a priority-99 maybe-never rainy day would-be-nice thing.

Cheers,
Paul.
