Well, you're right - I don't *know* it in that I'm not a psychic so I don't
know how it will turn out.  You could be right and this could be the ruination
of Synchronet.  I'm only speaking from what I've read and what I've been told,
which is that these features will come in addition to what's already there, and
what's already there won't be taken out.

Yeah, I'm just trying to push for clarity here.  I'm not excited or hopeful
about this project, but I don't think it's the Synchropocalypse that it's being
made out to be.  I'd just hate for people to stop calling Sync boards
altogether because they're under the impression that some special client is
needed.

I would be surprised if this new thing saw uptake, but I don't see the harm in
trying.

Well, thanks for that.  You've got a real passion for the BBS scene yourself
and you've contributed a lot.  I'm not trying to argue with anybody here - as I
say, I'm just trying to clear up what I see as a small understanding that's
been blown out of proportion.
