I just thought XP's My Computer desktop icon was a Shortcut for
Explorer.

I just had a thought, I will try right clicking on My Computer and
selecting Run As... (if the option is there) and see if I can reset
the Network Card for the SyQuest drive if I've forgotten to turn on
that drive before I power up the XP box.   Thanks for the idea.
