Not for a l-o-n-g time.  If I'm really stuck trying to get some text into a
file, I'll use "COPY CON [filename][Enter]" and start typing
(then slam [CTRL]-Z to close the new file).  But I haven't done that for an
equally l-o-n-g time.  Of course, it's useless for editing and only good
for creating new text files, though it will overwrite existing files.  :)
