Bit slow today are we? I just told you that OS2 doesn't have any equivalent
of what I use under Win. Doesn't that suggest that I am not running anything
under OS2?
For example, I looked at a few (four I think it was) backup programs for OS2,
not one supported my tape (can you suggest one that supports Exabyte-8250,
AND can handle multi-tape backups?), the only commercial "word processor" I
could borrow in it's entirety was Word Perfect - total crap, out of at least
five HTML editors, only two supported anything close to HTML3.2. They could
have at least listed the newer (v3+) tags in the help file so I could do it
manually.
They are the three main types of program I use in the GUI. The only others
re
disk utils (I tried GammaTech utils too come to think of it), MOD players,
navigator, PovRay, and a few graphic editors/viewers. All the other programs
I use are text mode. And OS2's method of handling of OS2 and DOS text mode
programs is annoying.

- Scott
