You can find the UCR in any decent library.  As long as the statistics
have been kept, the homicide rate for long arms (shotguns and rifles,
including "assault weapons") runs about 1/2 to 2/3 the rate of homicides
with "no weapon at all (hands and feet)" year in and year out.
