Normally the "605" plug has White on pin 2 and Blue on pin 6 but there's
no hard and fast rules when it comes to the colour of the wires in modem
telephone leads so identifying the right wires might be difficult.
If your modem's telephone lead has an RJ-11 (modular) plug at one end you
should be able to pick the right wires if you use he two innermost ones.
