If you buy an Awe32 or similar you can access the normal GM
wavetable sounds and also build up banks of your own sounds by importing
 WAV files.
ML> Can you play wav files from pressing keys on the keyboard ?
It's far easier to input from a piano type keyboard but most sequencers
will allow you to input from your computer keyboard.
ML> Would I be advised to buy a wavtable souncard ?
Buy an Awe32. They're very cheap now. You can add RAM to increase the
storage capacity for your banks of WAV files. This is the equivalent
 of buying a œ2,000 sampler.
