| subject: | Inexpensive modem needed. |
Hi everyone, I am looking for a little advice. At present I am using a Banksia 14.4 which a friend kindly lent me. I was going to buy a 28.8 Lightspeed internal for a cool $200 (but I moved a little too slowly!!). I would like any knowledgeable soul out there to advise me where I can get the best deal on a reputable 28.8 with v.34 support. I have read many reviews of modems, but frankly after reading some of the traffic on this echo, I would rather trust the opinions of experienced users such as yourselves. I only have limited funds, and could probably go to $400 maximum if I had to, and naturally I can't afford to buy a turkey. Any information would be appreciated. Cya Hew ...
