Depends what you mean. A 14.4K at a serial speed of 38400 should be
OK, but for file transfers you need to use a hard disk or ram disk -
floppy drives are too slow..You also need a good comms program like
Ncomm 2 or 3. Some others like Term are too slow on a 500..
