subject: I`m Back on Line!

Hi Barbara: I'm back on line. I got upgrades on my computer, and somehow my
modem wasn't hooked up to activate The Big Deal. So, I guess I wasn't missed
-- had no waiting messages. Because of the heavy usage of the Internet, my
time has greatly decreased with my adoptee's organization. Also, as I sent
you a message re my adoptive mother who died Christmas Eve. I'm still
recovering from that. Have all of her things in my garage and I just can't
force myself to go in there and sort things out. Also, I lost all of my data
files with over 600 listings for members of the adoption triad. No way to
recover the disc, and I did run a hard copy in August of 1996, and I'm having
my computer friend scan it for me so at least I won't have to enter all that
data. I was sick when that happened. No clue as to why it occurred other
than I had been using that same floppy for about two years, and my computer
guy told me not to use it for more than six months. So now I backup
everything. We do learn by experience. How have the meetings beengoing with
PAIS? Have you been going? I haven't had anyone here for some time other
than by appointment. People register and then don't pursue it further.
Probably waiting for the right time, place, and that's fine. Am glad to
seeyou are back on board and helping others because you are so good at it.
Talk to you soon! Give me a call and we can just talk when you get a chance.
 Marie
