There is a little thing called "Netiquette" that needs to be pointed out
before things get out of hand.
0) The rule above all rules: Annoy the moderators at your own risk.
1) When answering a message, quote a part of the message so people know what
you're talking about. Posting an answer out without a quote makes it look
like your talking to yourself...and it annoys the moderators.
2) When you _do_ quote, TRIM WHAT ISN'T NECESSARY TO YOUR ANSWER. Nothing
annoys people more than quoting back 115 lines of message to say "I agree."
It especially annoys the moderators.
3) No message here is private. You post it, *ANYONE* can answer. If you
don't like it, and the message is against the rules here, let the moderators
know so they can be annoyed too. If you just don't like it, there's not much
that can be done...it *is* an open echo, and begging for help for something
not against the rules annoys the moderators.
4) If you use a signature block, use it in the _first_ message you post if
you're posting more than one at a sitting. Using it in three or twelve
messages in a row annoys people, and *especially* annoys the moderators.
5) Using obscenities or unwarranted insulting behavior *might* annoy the
moderator. If you _think_ you're being 'witty' then it is likely that you
aren't...it's a natural process, and wit happens.
=================================
This isn't meant to keep anyone from posting, but to keep you from posting in
a way that someone will complain to us and ask us to remove your eyes through
your navel.
Think of what message writing style looks _good_ and not "kewl".
