How many are there in the Polyoma posse?
I wonder if it would be feasible or cost effective to ship 'em down and test
'em. At least the test is free and shipping is almost bound to stress 'em
enough to influence the test. Although, one girl I know that ships very
frequently said that they have often found polyoma in the filters and vents
of the cargo holds where birds are shipped when they have been swabbed. One
reason we ship /counter to counter "US Air PDQ or Delta:Dash" flights when
shipping babies. More expensive, but often the birds ride in the cockpit or
inside the
plane. Also it's climate controlled. I can ship No Fla to NJ nonstop in 2
hours
cargo for $68 and counter to counter $120 or less. To WVa was $96. My friend
tapes cardboard or paper towels inside her crate to help (anyway) prevent
wxposure of the birds.
