I have 128mb of RAM and still force my swap file to start at 65mb. Don't be
afraid of using swap space. Win95 wants swap space as well. A healthy
pre-allocated swapper is a good thing and will improve speed and response
significantly.
To get netscape running, you probably had to enable the OS2 version of
sockets.dll and move the correct resolv file into the DOS/ETC directory and
make sure that the sockets.dll that Netscape leaves around dissapears as well
as making sure that device=vdostcp.sys is loaded in at least that session.
But, I have never done the above just figure that would be how to do it if I
were so inclined as to use single threaded Win3.x tools instead of real
software.
