Hi George!

-> What is a PC leg dislocation?? It sound like something I should know
-> about but sometimes I'm just out of touch with what's going on...
Everybody had to tell me this accident was just like what happened to
Clinton... that's what I was meaning by Politically Correct. (I hate
it!) Fortunately, I am almost back to normal already, thanks to modern
sports medicine and a portable ice pack setup.
-> The Fidonet echos are not nearly as busy as they were ten years ago
-> so I don't participate much anymore. I don't care for the newsgroups
-> on the Internet because they are not moderated (from what I can tell
-> anyway) and they get out of control.
I know what you mean. Fortunately, since old days, we are a little
more international now than before when we were much more spotty
coverage, but as you've mentioned the Fidonet echos are slowly drying
up, just as many Internet folks are discovering that the Newsgroups
aren't exactly as great as they might be with the spam, off-topic and
flat out inaccurate information that is abundant.
-> However, I put a notice on the Audio echo on Fidonet that I was in
-> search of a turntable and someone responded with a Thorens table
-> which I bought.
Glad to see it is of some use to you. Hopefully, you will get a bite on
that second turntable you are looking for.
It's great to see you again, George, always nice to see another TBBS
sysop still hanging in there. I still own my TBBS stuff but am not
currently running a BBS any longer, but will be hanging out as moderator
here as long as there is a Fidonet, and getting some HTML ready for a
website at some future time.
