JE:-
Both the left and right of politics
have historically warped evolutionary
theory (ET) in their favour. The big problem
with ET was never the noisy creationists it 
was political bias working from within. 
Firstly Spencer, then Muller and finally 
Fisher warped EV to the right. Today it is 
the turn of the left: starting with Hamilton 
and cleverly developed by Dawkins. The
cost? A valid theory of organism fitness
mutualism.
