I'm not so sure about that, but at least putting your beverages in a paper bag
to drink them in public, does not make any sense to me. I've seen a wine with a
fun label though, it says "Le Clochard - Maison le Trottoir", meaning something
like "the tramp - at home on the sidewalk" and that bottle comes in a paper bag
instead of a wooden crate. :-)

No, they wouldn't. TV stations don't go broke because people start looking
outside their windows instead. The Netherlands didn't eliminite drug crimes by
legalizing marijuana. And when a female rights movement legalized prostitution
in Germany, that did not make brothels go broke, they're probably more
prosperous than ever. The Netherlands legalized selling marijuana to consumers
and consuming it, however the shops are not allowed to buy or grow it, so the
crime scene just changed to the back door of the shop. I'd expect strip clubs
to close because of all the competition on-line, which is probably harder to
control if operating from Cyprus, the Seychelles or some other place where
there are more companies than people.
