It's not that easy. You cannot let one idiot take away the constitutional right
of assembly. Because that way, any protest could be stopped by paying one guy
to throw a stone as soon as it starts. Moreover, police helicopters reported
seeing stacks of concrete blocks on rooftops, so they decided to first let
special forces secure the buildings to not risk any officer being hit by block
thrown off the roofs.

The press conference is still to come, but so far the violent criminals have
been categorised as unpolitical by the police.

What I don't understand is why we keep hearing that such violence has never
happened before, that the police underestimated the situation, etc.
We've seen those riots in London, in Toronto and in Pittsburgh, too.
