Actually, this message should be written to All, and I hope the cc command
works here as it does on a local message base. 

I want to start by thanking Michael for taking the time to write about my
problem, which seems to be intermittant and more than annoying, but having
been sick with the flu, I guess I put everything off... including parts of
Christmas. 

Second, I want to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas, and a special
Christmas hug to those who have written back to Michael to try to help out.
 Sorry Michael, no smooch here. 

Third - I am going to capture this message base and see what I can make of
the suggestions put to me...  Not being able to speak computer language, I
am lost.  Colour me more than confused. 

Fourth and last - Michael pointed out that a certain Gord Hannah (hope I
spelled that right) has possibly come up with the solution.  A special
thanks! I'll see what I have as settings and submit them if need be, and
change things and hope for the best.
