Speaking of which, I ought to re-activate the sheep postcard mailing list.
Long-time regulars here may recall that I used to occasionally post (snail
mail) sheep related postcards. It started with the appearance in NZ of free
postcards with company logos or advertisements. The NZ Wool Marketing Board
came out with a series under the slogan "Tested on animals",
extolling the virtues of wool garments by showing cartoon sheep engaged in
extreme sports. Whenever I saw a suitable card I'd grab a handful and put
them in the post. Sadly, one of the list members passed away and the supply
of suitable cards dwindled, so I lost heart.
