No need to be.  The usual average is closer to 3940cps.  :)

If an Austel model, it's up to USR to release a V.34+ EPROM, which they've
not yet bothered doing.  If a US/Canada model though, the best method is to
call their BBS and order it via the SVP34 door.  Delivery takes about 2
weeks.

If you want to order via voice, the 800 numbers can be used by changing the
