Hello Neil -

CA>> I was begining to think I was the only person left alive
CA>> interested in the C language. ;-)

NH> Do you also pick-up the C++ echo?

No. I never really liked C++ and know very little about it
other than it's an add-on to C as macros are to ASM.

NH> Do you have any idea of what is occurring with the link
NH> between Europe and North America?

No, I'v not heard anything although I did notice that many of
the Russians who were posting suddenly disappeared. I was
just begining to learn how it is that Americans and Russians
find themselves 'at odds' when exchanging messages and they
vanished. It seems that they do not share our fondness for
irony in our 'humor' and we do not always grasp their fondness
for what we call slapstick. Our humor has a twist that they
do not perceive and they enjoy people trying to not fall on
an ice covered driveway. Something like that anyhow.

NH> I was surfing the web a short while ago when I noticed that
NH> several of the posts from the Fido C and C++ echoes were
NH> archived for browsing on a site in Rumania. Rumania???

I became bored some time ago and put my name into Google as a
search term. It became obvious from what Google found that FIDO
was being archived in that region. I was thinking Russia but
Romania isn't far off. :-)

NH> Have we ever had any posts from Rumania?

I don't remember exactly which country people are in since many
do not identify country of origin and I don't memorize the fido
node numbers.
