First off, the stoopid little bunny needs to get herself a copy of QuickTime
Pro, as that is capable of exporting mp4's (or m4a) to .aiff's, then she can
load them into iTunes and convert to .mp3 and into the budget mp3 player. If
she encodes at 160k or better, it won't sound bad at all.

Don't hold it too hard against her. Apple doesn't make many of the tricks to
getting around its DRM known.
