Been busy, sorry.  Lots of fun work & personal things going on.

Would like to know more.  I wasn't crazy about the protocol when I started
picking away at this, but I know you were making changes.

IMHO it'd be great to build something new from the ground up without having to
make concessions to earlier MRC versions.
