LA and Boston are the bad places apparently.  The number I heard was about 1.25%
of the US priests involved.  There are some 50000 priests in the US since 1960 or so.

That means about 800 priests involved.  If you don't like it, go find your
own number.   Just don't let the bad places like LA and Boston dictate the
overall
average.
