G'morning Aleksej, ARS> The ARS> existing calculators are _calculators_, and they differ ARS> from Forth - they output values immediately etc. And the ARS> REXX script I wrote a year ago would be the only REXX ARS> script used, so that doesn't work, too. Nah ! Start up the Microsucky Calculator and Notepad.. ( Start>Programmes>Accessories>Calculator and again for Notepad ) .. and type out in Notepad the formula for, say, working out the probabilities of drawing 1 particular set of 6 numbers from 1 - 40. The National Lotto her in NZ relies on drawing the right combination of six numbers from 1 - 40, and the chances of hitting the right combination are... 40!/6!/34!= Make sure the equals sign is there, highlight the whole line and paste it into the Calculator ( Edit>Paste ) - and watch the Calculator screen line as you hit Paste.... Now hit Edit>Copy, click on the end of the expression just after the = sign, and Edit>Paste again.... So what sort of ordinary calculator will take a programmer's calculation code and render an coherent answer that can be pasted anywhere ? :-) ___ MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.45 --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: === Maxie BBS.
