GP>5. To take names for the Gulags . . . .
I have noticed my name showing up on some fascinating mailing lists
since joining the NRA.
GP>COMPROMISE is something you do with money in a business deal. Real
GP>Men don't compromise their God-given rights and political power away
GP>. . . never, they don't let go of one single right until after all
GP>their blood muddies the ground! Then, they don't need it anymore . .
Yep. Once upon a time, not all that long ago, I was willing to
compromise about guns, and did actually support the doing of it. But I
progressively got more and more bent out of shape over it. Each
"compromise" resulted in my losing rights, as well as potential guns,
and the anti's getting closer and closer to their goal of total
elimination of guns.
Just didn't seem right. Compromise, at least as I understand it, tends
to have more to do with arriving at a mutually acceptable goal. Like if
I want a white car and my wife wants a black car, perhaps we'll get a
green car instead.
But this 2nd amendment compromising just doesn't seem a'tall like that.
They keep marching forward, I keep stepping back. They keep taking, I
keep giving up.
Nope. No more. No more compromises. Thanks to gun control people, and
the NRA, I've become far more staunch in my absolutist position with
regards to the 2nd amendment as well as the rest of that paper.
