My friends at the barn where we keep our horses wantted to join the SCA
with our horses. We could never get in touch with anyone. We would
write or call and noone answered. We all have warhorse size horses.
The small one is 16 hands, which is big. We were trying to get some
patterns for barding that were adjustable. They have to fit horses
from 16 hands to 17.5 hands which is huge. We have costume patterns and
know a seamstress. I would do the beading and most of the jewelry
making. We all thought it would be fun, but not without the horses.

How inconsiderate of them. How hard is the pine needle basketry? I saw
some jewelry using pine needles and I think its pretty much the same
technique.
