It never ceases to amaze how, whenever some mass-killing event takes place up
comes the notion that something has to be `banned'.


One of the first reactions politicians have to some horrendous crime resulting
in several deaths and injuries is to ban something; a certain type of
ammunition magazine that holds more than a certain number of bullets.


Somebody killed a bunch of people using a weapon that held 12 or 14 bullets...
...so they ban magazines that hold 10 or more rounds! As if THAT will end mass
killings right there!
