You do appreciate that almost all nodes in Fidonet these days have dropped
modems for the internet ?

Mine went over 10 years ago when calls dropped to zero so started selling off
all my USR Pro modems both regular as ISDN.  If nothing else it cut the phone
bills down considerably.
