We were expected to know how to do it for ourselves.  I quit after
the first day and swore then I would have nothing to do with
computers ever again.  Lived up to that for over a decade and then
got a job where I was expected to know everything there was to know
about VAX/VMS.  Talk about stress.  Anyhow no punch cards then and
I learned really fast.  Whew!!!

That happens.  I haven't had one of those for almost a decade now.
Way cheaper to do everything digital.

I would have been fired for less.  No lossy data ... or else!!!
I think I got it now.  This one should be lossless.  Always seems
a Unixie guy has to look after others shortcomings eh?  ;-)
