BFH> Well, email really started to catch on around l988-to date, I think

"200" ????? You mean I _missed_ one ? I remember using 110, 300, 1200, 2400,
4800, 7200, 9600, 14.4K, 28.8K, and 33.6K (and of that list, some were split
-speed) units. "200" is something I remember of wanting to travel - by car -
as in "miles-per-hour"......

I don't think it's so much a problem over affordabilties as it may (still) be
a problem with properly _analysing_ what is needed, many beginners not fully
understanding the Technology-at-hand these days. I would advise a lot of
"window shopping" before buying, and perhaps the investment in a few short
courses to become literate and comfortable with the Technology _ahead_ of
setting-up any business, home-based or not.
BFH> Yeah, they use modems to swip the credit card, but that is about it.
BFH> It has something to do with many people hate to write.
For many, the need to write has been replaced with the need to type....or, as
in your example, the need to swipe...

EXACTOMUNDO ! Even the Fonze went back to school...
BFH> My email address is , anyone interested in linking
BFH> up to free email contact or get Juno software, which is free. They have
BFH> 1 million users and every home office should have one.
Send me email (rt.pollock@alphacty.org or netmail to the address noted below)
about this "Juno" business please. Somehow, I'm sure this has nothing to do
with the (yearly) Canadian show business awards presentations on the
telly......
