GCHQ Scarborough

GCHQ Scarborough is part of Government Communications Headquarters based at
Cheltenham and is one of three UK security and intelligence agencies
providing support of the UK foreign and defence policies. It's mission is
to monitor a variety of communications and provide facilities for research
and development in the communications field. The Scarborough Special Events
Group are the only Amateur radio group invited to operate from inside this
tip-secret base and are privileged to be invited to demonstrate amateur
radio during a families and charities weekend..
