     I was there today (diamondmm.com) and managed to grab the latest
beta - 1.440-22 dated 09/17/96.  I'll go so far as to quote the changes
file:  (I hope nobody minds)

1)  A new S86 error code was added, and a new text message was added
    to the %Q2 disconnect reason report.

2)  The default value for S192 is now 14, this sets S192.3.
    This adjusts the duration of the V.34 phase 4 TRN signal
    (Helps connect reliability).
3)  The %Q1 report now includes the current TX and RX data rates,
    the minimum TX/RX data rates for this call and the maximum
    TX/RX data rates for this call.
4)  Default setting for voice mode Silence Detection was changed
    from 0 (off) to 2 (mid level).
6)  A change was made to the two character LED driver that prevents
    the display from freezing when long bits (eg. breaks) are
    received.

Yes, I found the -22 beta the same day as you. It has been working great
so far with my SupraSonic. I especially like that it logs the min/max
online speeds in %q1. Give you a good indication of phone line quality. I
think everyone will appreciate the posting of changes from -18 to -22.

Subj: Is supra being swallowed?

I recently tried to go to the supra support site, but it pointed me to the 
Diamond main site... What is happening? Are we losing the Supra we all know? 
I hope not.  It was much more confusing finding the information I needed on 
the
Diamond site then it was on the supra site.  I know the two have joined, but 
why not make the internet sites simpler by leaving the supra modems and stuff
on www.supra.com.
My two cents worth.
